The Saint John Bulldogs are the first and only Australian Rules football team in New Brunswick, Canada.

The Bulldogs were officially formed in December 2023 after a summer of casual kick to kick sessions, and ring-in appearances in what was then the AFL Nova Scotia league, led to a drive to create a new team in Saint John.

Officially joining the renamed AFL Atlantic league in 2024, we had tremendous success right off the bat. Hosting the first games of the season in Saint John, in what were also the first ever known games of Aussie Rules in New Brunswick, the team came away with 1 win and 1 close loss in round 1. A newfound determination to continue the rise of footy in New Brunswick and across the Atlantic region was also a massive takeaway.

Fast forward to today, and footy is taking hold in Saint John, with more new players joining by the week.
